Muhammad Zaidi Mohtar has more than 10 years of experience in automotive R&D, particularly in car lighting development from initial design to production. His experience and expertise, along with his continuous learning and skill development, enable him to address challenges during the project development phase. He is frequently selected by company management to lead special teams for new projects with tight deadlines. His extensive experience working at Tier-1 lighting suppliers and OEMs allows him to tackle both micro and major problems effectively, supporting his team in brainstorming solutions to expedite the development process.

His professional experience includes designing exterior lights such as headlights and taillights, as well as interior lamps like dome lamps and ambient lights. He develops initial concepts for new lighting in collaboration with suppliers and styling studios. Additionally, he has experience managing cross-functional teams as a Program Manager to meet project milestones, financial targets, and successfully secure new bidding projects for the company. He also has experience in setting up a technical team or department from scratch until it is fully established.
